My elderly husband and I had a wonderful dog, we had had since he was 4 months old.
He got cancer of the mouth and we had to put him down in April of 2017.
In January of 2018 our daughter called and a grammar school friend knew of a lovely dog whose parents died and needed a home.
We were ready! Bernie America to our home, he is so well mannered. Rarely does he bark, he is a kisser and loves to be petted.
I guess we saved each other.
