A little over 5 years ago our 10 year old cat Kai went missing. He was always an adventurous guy that preferred the great outdoors. I assumed he discovered a new outdoor life for himself and just wanted to be free. Many years passed and I assumed he had passed away. 4 days ago we got a call from both Avid and a pet hospital about 40 minutes drive away (and across a long water bridge) that they had Kai. I was in shock and could have sworn they had the wrong cat. They did have Kai and thanks for Avid and the microchip he's had for over 15 years we now have our cat back! Who knows what adventures he's been on, but now he is safe with his family to live the rest of his life with.
